The Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Haryana, has officially empanelled Kahwat, the Srinagar-based daily newspaper published in Kashmiri, for government advertisements at the DAVP/CBC approved rates.


According to a communication issued by the Directorate from Chandigarh, the empanelment follows the recommendation of the Empanelment Advisory Committee. 


A communication has been made to the newspaper in this regard by Director General, confirming that Kahwat’s Srinagar edition now forms part of the Haryana Government’s approved list of publications eligible for official advertisements.


This inclusion marks another milestone for Kahwat, reflecting its growing credibility and recognition among government and media institutions across the country.
