Police on Tuesday said that it have initiated a preliminary inquiry (PE) into financial and operational activities of the Al Huda Educational Institute.
In a handout, the police said that the enquiry is registered under DDR nr 9 dated 24/11/2025 at PS Tangmarg following receipt of information of potential violations of regulatory and financial compliance standards, as well as encroachment on state land.
Violations of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), potential tax evasion due to incomplete financial documentation and necessary accreditation, and the building of the Al Huda Educational Institute being established on state land allegedly without following due process are the primary points of enquiry, reads the statement.
