Cop dies of cardiac arrest in Srinagar

A police personnel died due of a suspected cardiac arrest at Police Control Room (PCR) Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the cop posted with IR 6th Battalion at PCR Srinagar was found unconscious in his room.

He said he was immediately shifted to PCR hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. “The preliminary cause of death appears to be a cardiac arrest”. 

He has been identified as Mohammad Barri son of Biru Gujjar of Doda and his body has been kept at the PCR mortuary for medico-legal formalities—(KNO)
