Authorities on Thursday demolished three illegally constructed shops in the Channigam area of Frisal, Kulgam, in a joint operation by Kulgam Police and the civil administration targeting properties linked to drug trafficking.

The demolished structures belonged to an accused booked under the NDPS Act and had been built without mandatory land-use permission. Officials warned that the anti-drug campaign will continue and strict action will follow against those involved in narcotics trade and illegal construction.
