Srinagar, May 15: Two Jammu residents were arrested in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday in connection with an arms case registered against them in Himachal Pradesh.

Police sources told Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that two persons identified as Rakash Kumar and Surander Singh, both residents of Jammu district, were arrested by a police party from Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh with assistance of Budgam Police.

They said both the accused persons were taken to Himachal Pradesh by the police party and will be charged as per the case.

They were allegedly involved in FIR no 37/2021 under section 394,216A, 25, 27 of arms act registered at Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, sources added. (KDC)
