Baramulla, June 6: Two persons were arrested and their vehicle seized after policer recovered 7 bottles of liquor from the vehicle in North Kashmir’s Barmulla district.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trut that a Sentro (DL4CAG-5669) were intercepted by police at a check-point near Khanpora Cement Bridge falling under the jurisdiction of Baramulla.

During search of the vehicle 7 liquor bottles were recovered. Both the persons including the driver were arrested and case vide FIR number135/2021 under section 48 Excise Act was registered against them.

The accused have been identified as Muhammad Irfan Malik of Rangwar and Balkar Singh, a resident of Noorbagh Baramulla. (KNT)
