Guntur: A two-year-old boy, who fell into a open borewell at Ummidivaram village of Vinukonda Mandal in Guntur District on the evening of August 15, was rescued in the wee hours of today.
The NDRF, Fire brigade and police personal has taken up a 10-hour long massive rescue operation at the village and successfully extricated the boy, Chandrasekhar, from the bore well.
He was ‘safe’ even after 10 hours ordeal in the borewell, where he was struck at about 10 feet depth.  (UNI)
