New Delhi: Launching sharp attack on the RSS, Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi today said that they wanted to change the Constitution.
Speaking at Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav’s ‘Sanjhi Virasat Bachao’ event , Rahul also charged the RSS of filling every institution in the country with its own people.
‘The RSS is aware that its ideology cannot win elections in the country.
Therefore, it is attempting to fill every institution with its own people,’ Rahul said at the event, also attended by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ahmed Patel.
Mr Sitaram Yechury of the CPI(M), D Raja of the CPI and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babu Lal Marandi also attended the meeting.   (UNI)
