Rajouri, Dec 14: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday said that he can’t say accurately why late Mufti Muhammas Sayeed forged an alliance with BJP.

“I can’t say accurately but perhaps he (late Mufti Sayeed) may had forged an alliance with BJP to protect 35A and Article 370. Perhaps, Death didn’t allow him to do so,” Bukhari said while addressing party workers in Rajouri.

He said politicians in Jammu and Kashmir made lofty claims about the protection of special status of Jammu and Kashmir. He said people still don’t know what transpired in the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and their parliament members.
