Two days after jumping into River Jhelum at Cement Kadal in Noorbagh area, body of teenage girl was retrieved on Friday morning, officials said here.

Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that body of 15-year-old girl was retrieved by sand extractors and river Police Srinagar at Palpora area of Noorbagh after hectic efforts.

They identified the deceased as Ulfat Bashir daughter of late Bashir Ahmad of Bagwanpora Noorbagh.

Meanwhile, an official said that body will be handed over to family after completing legal formalities—(KNO)
