The State Taxes Department Kashmir led by its Additional Commissioner State Taxes Department (Administration and Enforcement) Kashmir Division Shakeel Maqbool (ICAS) along with Enforcement Wing today raided several brick kilns in Budgam District.
In the raid conducted on 60 Brick Kilns, majority of brick kilns were found to be operating without licenses.
The Additional Commissioner during the drive directed the Brick Kilns owners to get registered with the District Administration and also get registered with Goods and Service Tax Department.
Meanwhile the Additional Commissioner directed the Squad to continue the drive against the illegal brick kilns and take action under law against those operating without licenses.
The Squad later on visited several other brick kilns to monitor their activities.
