Srinagar: On specific input that cell-phones and other material is being used by Jail inmates in district jail Baramulla, a joint team of police and jail authorities conducted search in the jail premises. The police spokesman in a statement said on Sunday.
According to statement, 14 cell-phones and incriminating material was recovered from the possession of the jail inmates.
An FIR has been registered and investigation is on as to how these articles which are not authorised as per jail manual have made entry into jail premises.
