E-bus drivers and conductors on Monday held a protest at Pantha Chowk bus stand in Srinagar, alleging harassment by passengers on a regular basis.

Speaking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the protesting staff said they face harassment routinely, and a driver was even assaulted yesterday.

They said the SSL Srinagar has failed to address the matter and they demand FIR be filed in yesterday’s incident.

“The authorities concerned have repeatedly ignored our concerns. People at the helm to not listen to our issues and we have been left high and dry,” said a protesting driver—(KNO)
