Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma on Monday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stands with the flood-hit people and those affected will get a comprehensive package.

Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Sunil Sharma, said that the government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was missing on the ground after floods hit Jammu and Kashmir. "Omar sahab was busy in Chennai, preparing for Paris visit," he said

He said that BJP leaders, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and others met the affected families after heavy rainfall led to the floods.

He also said that they have no information about the visit of PM Modi to Jammu and Kashmir.
