Slight Improvement was recorded in night temperatures amid cloud cover across Kashmir valley on Sunday night.

Details compiled by independent weather channel Kashmir weather  as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, A fresh light spell of snowfall was also witnessed at Minimarg-Zojila Pass early this morning.

As per Kashmir Weather, Srinagar settled at -1.9°C, while several other stations remained below the freezing point while Pulwama was the coldest at -6.5°C.

Qazigund recorded -1.0°C, Pahalgam -0.4°C, and Kupwara dipped to -3.2°C. 

Gulmarg shivered at 0.3°C, whereas Pampore touched -3.2°C. Baramulla at -4.7°C, and Srinagar Airport plummeted to -3.6°C.

In the Jammu region, winter chill intensified as Jammu recorded 9.6°C, Banihal 3.5°C, and Bhaderwah 3.7°C. Katra settled at 9.4°C, while Rajouri witnessed a minimum of 2.8°C. Other stations including Udhampur and Ramban recorded 5.8°C and 6.6°C, respectively.

Ladakh continued to face harsh cold conditions with Leh recording -4.6°C, Kargil -3.8°C, and Nubra Valley -3.9°C.

Weather officials said the temperatures are expected to remain low over the coming days with mostly dry weather along with the possibility isolated light snowfall in higher-reaches. (KNC)
