Srinagar:  Taking a jibe at Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Abbasi for seeking implementation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution on Jammu and Kashmir, former chief minister Omar Abdullah said clearly no one in his government showed him the text of the resolution of 1948, which states unequivocally that ‘Pak withdraw from J&K first’.

“Clearly no one in his Govt showed him the text of the UNSC resolution 47 of 1948 which states unequivocally that Pak withdraw from J&K first,” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

Mr Abdullah was responding to Mr Abbasi speech at an event organised by the Council on Foreign Relations in New York in which demanded the implementation of the UNSC resolution on Jammu and Kashmir. The Pak Prime Minister also asserted that his country will continue supporting the right to self-determination in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Let’s not even begin to mention the systematic dismembering of the parts of J&K help by Pak since 1947 including gifting parts to China!,” Mr Abdullah tweeted.
