Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vidhi Kumar Birdi is set to proceed on central deputation after the Ministry of Home Affairs approved his appointment as Inspector General in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
An MHA office memorandum, a copy of which is with Kashmir News Observer, states that the competent authority has approved the posting of Birdi, an IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre (2003 batch), against an existing vacancy at Level-14 in the pay matrix, on usual terms and conditions of central deputation.
The MHA has directed that Birdi be relieved immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre.
