Four shops "illegally constructed on State land" were demolished during an anti-encroachment drive in Tehsil Bhalwal, Jammu, on Tuesday, acting on directions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Minhas.

The drive, conducted under the supervision of SDM Jammu North, Dr. Deepak Kumar, targeted unauthorised structures raised on State land under Khasra No. 3456 in Village Bhalwal. The demolition was carried out in the presence of Tehsildar Bhalwal, Ms. Monika Sharma, and SHO Gharota, Rajesh Verma, along with revenue and police officials.

The district administration warned that strict action will continue against all unauthorised occupations of State land in accordance with the law.
