Heatwave conditions are expected to persist across the Kashmir region over the next 48 hours, with Srinagar's maximum temperature likely to reach 35°C to 37°C on Monday.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to remain 4°C to 8°C above normal across much of the Valley, while parts of the Jammu region may witness brief showers under monsoon-like conditions.

Weather experts expect temperatures to ease from Wednesday, with more significant relief from Thursday as a Western Disturbance is likely to bring cooler conditions.
