Ganderbal: Another boy (name withheld) from Khalmulla area of Ganderbal was mistaken as braid chopper yesterday evening. He was caught by crowd and thrashed in Kujjar area of Ganderbal .
SSP Ganderbal in press Briefing said, after got an information the police party from P/S Ganderbal rushed towards spot and the suspicious person was brought into the police custody. The matter was verified and during verfication it was found that the said person name withheld, is in love affairs with a girl, (name with held) presently residing in the house of her sister at Kujjar Ganderbal and the said person has entered into the village with the intention to have a meet with his girlfriend .
However the local people misunderstood him as a braid chopper chased and thrashed the said person.
In this regards case FIR NO.202/2017 U/S 147,323,341RPC was registered in P/S Ganderbal and investigation taken up.
