Jammu: A bureaucrat is allegedly doing construction in Channi area of Jammu on State land, despite the court orders to stop any kind of work at the place.
According to the locals, the person is using his influence and under the grab of corrupt police officials he is violating the court orders, repeatedly.
Court has ordered that the land of, Six Kanals shall remain with him and there should be no inference “with the peaceful possession.”
However, the person who was possessing the land said that the order has not been implemented. “Instead, with the help of police, he is raising a concrete structure at the place.”
A Couple of days before, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu visited the area and stopped the work.
“I got the construction work stopped because it is state land,” ADC Jammu Arun Manhas said.
However, the locals said that after the visit of ADC the work has been again resumed.
“They are working under full police protection,” locals alleged.
