Srinagar: Senior APHC leader and chairman of Islamic Political Party – JK Mohammad Yousuf Naqash was today shifted to Central Jail, Srinagar from Safa Kadal police station. He was arrested on Tuesday from his residence.

Party spokesman while strongly condemning the arrest said this shows the clear picture of how the so-called sham elections are conducted in this disputed territory.

“A complete crackdown is launched on resistance leadership, pro-freedom parties, activists and people before the so-called elections and the whole state is turned into a virtual jail,” the spokesman said.

He appealed to people to completely boycott the elections and teach the puppets a befitting lesson.
