BARAMULLA: Punjabi Sahitya Sabha, Baramulla organised a one day seminar to provide writers and intellectuals of Punjabi languages to share their experiences and contributions to Punjabi language and literature.
Speaking on the occasion, various speakers underlined the importance of language not only as a means of communicating thoughts and ideas, but also a common thread binding people by transcending physical barriers.
Punjabi language has vast repositories of literature and the need of the hour is to bridge the gap between the reader and the source through proper application of information technology.
Director North Campus Kashmir University Dr.Irshad Ahmad wani ,President Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Baramulla Karan Singh Talib,General Secretary Surender Singh Sodhi,Principal Degree College Baramulla Dr.Satwant Singh and other Dignitaries were present on the occasion.
