Srinagar, Oct 13: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Friday distanced itself from the bank robbery incidents and said that robbing banks is not the work of militants.
Hizb Operational Spokesperson Burhanuddin told news agency CNS over phone that: “We do not believe in bank robberies as it is un islamic and unethical. Robbing Banks is not the work of militants. Honesty, truth and serving Kashmiri people is our core trait.”
The Spokesperson castigated police for holding its militants responsible for the bank robbery incident in Kashmir and termed it Indian agenda to tarnish the character of militants. (CNS)
