Tral: Complete shutdown is being observed in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama after government forces have allegedly ransacked the house of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander in Tral Sub district of south Kashmir during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

Eye witnesses said that forces barged into the houses of active hizb commander Umar Fayaz Urf Hammad Khan , in Seer village, 7 kilometres from sub district headquarter Tral.

They said that forces ransacked the house besides damaging property worth lacs there.

However , Early in the morning today , residents staged a protest in Seer Village, against the ransacking and raised anti-indian and pro-freedom slogans.

Meanwhile,  Father of Hizb Commander Haji Fayaz Ahmad Lone expressed resentment against forces and said ransacking property by forces is unfortunate and an act of intimidation.

“My son had left home few years back and has no connection with my home now as he has choosen his own way of living” He said.

Pertinently, a special police officer (SPO) was killed by suspected militants in Gurtoo area of Tral last evening, identified as Haleem Ahmad Kohli.
