Karachi, Oct 25 : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday charged that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari was chief of a Mafia syndicate in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said reforms couldn’t be carried out without “bringing the PPP leader to justice,” The News International reported.
Khan said there was not a single institution in Sindh province which is not under Zardariโ€™s influence.
โ€œRecruitment, postings, transfers and approval of funds could not be carried out without Zardariโ€™s consent,” he added.
PTI chief called on the National Accountability Chairman to launch an investigation to identify who was sending the stolen money abroad.
