Srinagar: The Resistance leaders Sunday called for complete shutdown on Monday and Tuesday against six civilian killings in Budgam District by government forces.

Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq told KNS that the leadership has called for two-day shutdown Monday and Tuesday against the civilian killings in Budgam.

Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar told KNS that they have decided to call for shutdown on Monday and Tuesday against civilian killings in Budgam.

Six civilians have been killed while dozens have been injured in Budgam district during clashes with government forces during by-polls for Srinagar parliament constituency, where 4 .98 % votes were cast till 1 pm out of 12, 61,395 votes.
