Srinagar: Hundreds of of people attended the funeral prayers of slain Omar Farooq in Baroosa area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reportedly, Nimaz-e-Jinaza of Omar was offered offered at Main chowk Baroosa on Srinagar-Leh highway. Later, the body was laid to rest amid tears.
Omar was shot dead by forces on Sunday evening in Baroosa.
