Ghazipur, Nov 10 : One woman was killed and two others were injured when a truck rammed into a stationary truck from behind at a railway crossing here early on Friday morning.
The deceased woman was identified as Kohri Devi of Jhulawanpur village in the district.
According to information available, an inattentive driver of a truck did not notice that another truck was parked ahead at the Dullahpur railway crossing.
By the time he apparently realised and applied brakes, his truck dashed into the stationary truck.
As a result of the impact, the stationary truck broke through the railway crossing barrier and knocked down three villagers.
