SRINAGAR | NOV 22 : Six shops were completely destroyed in a fire incident in Chattabal area of Srinagar city on Tuesday night.
An eyewitness told new agency that the incident occurred at around 10:30 pm in Chan Mohalla area, adding that property worth lakhs was destroyed in the fire incident.
“All the shops were completely destroyed in the fire incident,” said Sajid Ahmad Khazkar, whose leather shop was also gutted in the incident.
Some of the shops according to the locals were the property of the local Masjid. The cause of the fire is believed to be short circuit. (PTK)
