Srinagar, Nov 25 : A pedestrian was killed in a road accident in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here on Saturday.
They said a speeding vehicle hit and critically wounded a pedestrian, identified as Ghulam Mohiudin Yatoo, at Palhallan Pattan in Baramulla late on Friday night.
The injured was immediately taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Pattan where he succumbed, they added.
They said the driver of the vehicle fled the spot, adding police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident.
