Srinagar:  At least two civilians were injured during clashes with government forces at Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.

Witnesses told that at around 12.30 PM Army of 13RR and Police were patrolling in the Parray Mohallah and Bon Mohallah areas of Hajin during which youth pelted them with stones resulting in clashes.

Forces fired many teargas canisters to break up the protesters however, youth continued to pelt.

Locals alleged that forces set a stack of dried grass on fire and ransacked many residential houses in the area.

Talking to the reporters a senior official denied the allegations of ransacking and damaging of public property.
