Srinagar, Dec 7 ;  The 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh national highway, linking Ladakh region with Kashmir valley, has been closed due to fresh snowfall since late Wednesday night.

However, Srinagar-Jammu national highway and historic Mughal road, connecting Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region are through for traffic, a traffic police official said.

He said there was fresh snowfall at Sonamarg, Zojila and Meenamarg on Ladakh highway during the night.
