Kalol (Gujarat), Dec 8 ; Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a dig at his predecessor Dr Manmohan Singh and shared an anecdote wherein he claimed a senior citizen in Rajkot has handed over to Dr Singh – a book detailing the “scams” under the UPA regime.

“Do you all know what happened in Rajkot. It was a funny situation, have you all read in newspapers. …….Dr Manmohan Singh met the press in Rajkot over demonetisation. After that an elderly person Mansukh Kaka met him. The senior citizen and poor man was not stopped by SPG also. Mansukh Kaka presented him a 250-page book containing the scams under the UPA,” he told an election rally here.

“Mana Mansukh Kakaney sau sau salam (I pay huge homage to Mansukh Kaka). I congratulate Mansukh Kaka who spoke up for the truth….. I dont know whether it was reported in electronic medium. But in social media, one can spot Mansukh Kaka,” said Prime Minister amid applause from the gathering.
