Inquiry to be completed within 21 days

Srinagar: The government on Sunday stated that it has ordered probe into the killing of a sumo driver in north Kashmir’s Kupwara area and the inquiry into the matter will be completed within the period 21 days.

The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir told KNS that ACR Kupwara has been appointed as the head of the inquiry committee who will probe the matter and submit report within the stipulated period of three weeks. He added case has already been registered and anyone found guilty shall face the law. “We have already ordered a magisterial probe and will investigate the case thoroughly so that if anyone is found guilty, action as per the law will be taken against that person,” DC Kupwara told KNS.
