Srinagar, December 19: A 24 year old woman was killed and nine others sustained injuries during clashes. During clashes that erupted after killing of two militants at Batmuran village of South Kashmir’s shopian district on Tuesday.
Official sources told news agency GNS that Rubi Jan Alias Beauty W/o Mansoor Ahmad Mir sustained bullet wounds in her abdomen and immediately rushed to nearby hospital.
However doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
Nine other people according to sources sustained injuries during clashes near encounter site.
Meanwhile two militants were killed and their bodies along with as many AK rifles have been recovered from the encounter site. (GNS)
