New Delhi, Dec 20 : Rajya Sabha Chairman M  Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday ruled out any apology as demanded by agitated Congress members over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s allegations against his predecessor Manmohan Singh, saying no statement was made on the floor of the House.

As soon as Question Hour commenced, Congress members were on their feet demanding an apology from Mr Modi for his charges during Gujarat election campaign that Dr Singh had conspired with Pakistan.

Asking Congress members to allow the Question Hour to run, Mr Naidu said nobody is going to give apology. No statement was made inside the House.
