Srinagar, Dec 21: The Directorate of Students Welfare (DSW) and Health Centre of Central University of Kashmir (CUK) in collaboration with the Department of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, Government Medical College, Srinagar and Kash foundation organized a blood donation camp at CUK’s, Nowgam-I academic block, here on Thursday.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir, inaugurated the camp in the presence of Dean Directorate of Students Welfare, Dr. Fayyaz A Nikka, founder of Kash Foundation, Ms. Saba Bhat and other senior functionaries of the varsity.

As many as 57 persons comprising faculty members, administrative staff and students of the varsity donated blood during the camp.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir hailed the DSW for organizing the camp and said the donated blood would save the precious lives of people who are in need of the same.
