SRINAGAR, DEC 25 : A complete shutdown was observed in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on the 2nd death anniversary of a local militant who was killed on this day in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

 Omais Ahmad Shiekh alias Abu Hamza son of Farooq Ahmad of Chatapora village was killed in an encounter with the government forces in Ajas Bandipora in 2015.

 All the shops and business establishments are closed today while as transport is off the roads.  Reports said that additional forces were deployed in the town to maintain law and order. (PTK)
