New Delhi: Union Human Resource and Development (HRD) Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday said Pakistan’s nefarious designs in Kashmir Valley won’t succeed, adding the educational institutes will very soon be re-opened.

He held Pakistan responsible for the current turmoil in the Valley.

Javadekar said in an exclusive conversation that terrorists burnt 30 schools last year also but still 98 percent students appeared in the exams and performed extremely well.

He said this showed the Kashmir Valley wanted education and Pakistan’s nefarious designs in Kashmir will not succeed.

The HRD Minister said the Union Government and the state government were in touch to restore normalcy in the Valley at the earliest.

Due to the stone-pelting by the local students, the Kashmir Divisional Commissioner had on Monday ordered to shutdown the universities, colleges and higher secondary schools across the region.
