Srinagar, Jan 16 : A soldier from Jammu died under mysterious circumstance in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on Tuesday, official sources said.
They a 40-year-old soldier Pawan Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, resident of Bishna, Jammu, was found dead at Opluna camp of 79 Brigade in Baramulla district.
The exact cause of his death was being ascertained, they said, adding that it was reported that he was unwell for the past few days.
Police has initiated proceedings, they said.
