Srinagar, Jan 22 : Life returned to normal on Monday in the Shehar-e-Khas (SeK), downtown and Civil Lines, where authorities had imposed restrictions on Sunday morning following a strike called by separatists observing it as ‘death anniversary’ of about 50 people in alleged security force firing at Gaw Kadal in 1990.

The gates of historic Jamia Masjid, which were closed yesterday due to restrictions, are open for devotees.

Additional security forces deployed in the area have been witnessed.
