Srinagar: Restrictions will be imposed in south Kashmir’s Shopian district tomorrow in view of a proposed march by the separatist groups.

“The District Magistrate Shopian has imposed restrictions on the movement of public and transport in the territorial limits of district Shopian on Friday under Section 144 CrPC,” said an official spokesman.

He said that the restrictions will not be applicable to essential services, including banks.

Joint Resistance Leadership – an amalgam of separatist outfits – has called for a march to Shopian tomorrow against the recent civilian killings.
