Srinagar, Feb 13: Curfew-like restrictions have been imposed in downtown and Shehar-e-Khas (SeK) in Srinagar on Tuesday as a precautionary measure in view of an encounter underway between security forces and two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants holed up in a building near battalion headquarters of CRPF in Karan Nagar.

All roads leading to Karan Nagar in civil lines have also been sealed with barbed wires to prevent people from going towards the encounter site.
