Tral : A book release function and Mehfil-e-Mushaira programme was held on Monday at Satoora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The function was organised by “Rajab Hamid Memorial Adab” in collabration with “Nigeeni Cultural Foundation” and “Radio Kashmir Srinagar”, where poets from different areas participated.
In the said function, a Kashmiri book titled as “Morifatik Jaam” written by a Trali poet, namely Nadeem Altaf, was released, in presence of prominent Kashmiri poets including Abdul Ahad Farhad and Rashid Rahil.
Soon after the book release function, a programme Mehfil-e-Mushaira, was also held there, where dozens of poets recited their poetry, besides paid tributes to renowned poet Late Rajab Hamid and prayed for his peace.
