New Delhi, June 4 : Acting on the complaint of sexual harassment of an air hostess, Minister for Women
and Child Development Maneka Sanjay Gandhi has taken up the matter with the Civil Aviation Minister for
immediate redressal of her grievance.
The air hostess, working with Air India, personally met Ms Gandhi, regarding her complaint under the Sexual
Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013.
The minister also spoke to the head of the Internal Complaints Committee of the national carrier and directed
her to complete the inquiry within a month’s time, an official release here said.
