New Delhi, June 27 : Rain lashed various parts of the city on Wednesday morning, bringing respite for Delhiites from the scorching heat wave.
The minimum temperature plummeted by four notches from Tuesday’s 30.7 degrees Celsisus to settle at 26.2 degrees Celsisus.
The weather office has forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershowers during the day.
According to the Met Department, the maximum temperature will hover at around 32 degrees Celsius.
The department said till 0830 hrs, 3.4 mm rainfall was recorded while the humidity was pegged at 92 per cent.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal for the season.
