New Delhi, June 27 The Supreme Court will on Wednesday decide whether an investigation should be carried out against Enforcement Directorate (ED) Investigating Officer(IO) Rajeshwar Singh who was probing the Aircel Maxis case.
As a petition claimed that there are serious allegations against Singh, a vacation bench of the Apex court, headed by Justice Arun Mishra and also comprising Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul said it will pass an order at 1400 hrs, as to whether a probe would be initiated against him for this or not.
The top court, during the course of the arguments, observed that the sealed cover allegations against ED officer given by ASG Bikram Banerjee seems to be very sensitive and involves issues involving national security.
