Srinagar: Army claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by militants along the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, on Wednesday.

Reports said that there were no casualties in the incident and the militants were forced to retreat.

“Army troops opened fire on a group of militants attempting to sneak into our territory yesterday night and forced them back across the Line of Control in Rampur sector of Baramulla district,” news agency PTI reported.
