SRINAGAR: After remaining suspended for two weeks, the “Karvan-e-Aman bus service resumed on Monday between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad.

The bus left from here in the morning for Kaman Post on the Line of Control (LoC).

Members of divided families living on the two sides of the LoC cross the Aman Setu Bridge on foot and then board buses on the two sides to reach their respective destinations.

The service was suspended last week because the army was conducting an operation close to Kaman Post on the Indian side.
